Event Coverage NOR-CAL 2 CAR SHOWS SATURDAY 7/29/2023 PICS!!

Started the day out by driving about 1 hour South of my place to the town of Lodi for my 1st show of the day - held in the old classic part of town, with a lot of history for town and show.

Thanks for the pictures. I have to say, as someone who lives in Lodi and also works for the City of Lodi, that this is a hot rod town. Any day of the week, any time of the year you will see old cars here. I hate to say that I didn't make the show this year and I live just a few blocks from downtown. Once again, thanks for the pictures.

 

now time to head North, about an hour from Lodi to Woodland for Midnight Mass Car Show. hit heavy freeway traffic in Sacramento. then hit more traffic at the Yolo County Fairgrounds trying to get into show. had to wander around the back roadway to registration area, which was a real bottleneck. with the hot weather, and very slow moving line of cars, some people had to push their cars.

 

they did have one of the best "goodie bags" for entrants - included a battery powered lantern, because show runs until 8Pm, also show poster & stickers
