Thanks all. Some improvement. Rt arm and leg now have some function. Can walk some with walker now. An improvement from arm and leg having no response. Still a good ways to go.

Thanks, I searched 1940 mirror, but they didnt pop up, probably searched wrong. They seem to be about $60 plus everywhere.

Thank You for Your Update. This is Very Good news for all of us who love and respect your knowledge and craftsmanship. As others have said, be patient and postpone major decisions with respect to your ‘40 passions until you heal back to your normal self.

Believe in yourself, healing can happen; I was 65 when first heart-attack took the spunk out of me, today I’m 83 and in the shop daily prepping my ‘40 Coupe (mine since 1958) for a return to the street as my daily driver.

Stay active with what you love and keep your friends close as this too has healing properties.

Being a local kid, this reminds me of the sedan deliveries that Meier and Frank used to use. A whole fleet painted that color green, as memory serves.

That's a beautiful coupe. Too bad about the piston, was the damage limited to that?
