    Hello everyone,
I was hoping that I might get feedback on how to repair the steering box on a 32 roaster (old hot rod built in the late 70's, early 80's). The steering is sloppy and has some play in the box and perhaps in the 2 U joints. I can't seem to find a manufactures name on the box; however, it is stamped with the following serial number ... 7808990. The box has a adjustment value/screw on the top ... it is in the middle of what appears to be a lid (fasened on by 3 bolts). There is a circular plug in the front of the box (facing the nose of the 32) that seems to screw into the box. Lastly, the box is fastened to the frame by 3 bolts (2 on the bottom, one on the top). The box measure about 6 inches long and about 4.5 inches high (just the box itself). Any repair information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thx
    DS
