Event Coverage Oklahoma city cruising

Just wondered if anyone still cruises Meridian ave . Fri.- Sat. nights after the show is over at the Great southwest Nats in Oklahoma City ? If not ,what is there to do after the show closes ? Thanks.

 

I should know the answer to this, but haven’t been down there at night in years. I do think they still cruise, just not near as crazy as it used to be.

 

Considering the age of many of the participants, probably dinner and then bed.

 

Last time I was there was in the mid to late 80's and the whole street was filled with tire smoke. The next year the cops were out in force and cruising Meridian died out. Just wondered if it was different now with the all the latter model cars allowed

 

Yea, it’s definitely not as crazy as the 80’s was. But, I haven’t been in probably 10 years, so my perspective could be outdated. Last time I did go, most of the cars on the street were later model local cars.
