Scored rear tires at the portland swap meet!
7.00-16 exactly what Ive been after! Heavily debating between 5.50-16 or 6.00-16 for the fronts, currently has 6.00-16... also made a little video on the swap meet!

Did a little tail light fitting....need 4 more yankee 975 housings...

 

With the peak in the deck lid, that peak in the rear bar would match up nice. I know a guy in Oregon that could help with that.

 

No way! I have a screenshot of that exact nerf bar, was gonna do something like that and wraps around the tail lights. I dig it! Getting an argon bottle and stainless wire

Score!!! Got this 36 banjo as part of a trade with an open drive conversion only problem is, it came with a badass little 59ab 60 over bore just needs a cam... big part of me still wants to run the lincoln 337 but i have a 39 trans in a tub in the corner.... decisions decisions

Thinking at this time is I am going to run the bones and a single torque arm. Also planning on shortening the bones and using a front wishbone ball and mount much like this image I stole from one of stripers posts back in 2008
Just seems likely to have the best ride and with the torque rod, should be plenty strong.

 

Tail light update

 

Headed to her first show, engines not in it yet but it is running!

 

Okay update time! Showed the roadster, it has a lot of interest and a lot of people wondering what it was. Heres the video from that show

My wife competed in the pinup contest and looked great in my opinion!
Then I started working on pulling the 337 as well as the x member which I will be fitting to my custom a frame
I will also be trying to use the factory brake and accelerator equipment from the lincoln. Not sure yet how it will all come together but the ball is rolling!

Is that a hydro behind that flattie, & are you going to use it?
(1 fast hard shiftin' slush-box comin' up? ). Somewhere I've got some old magazine photocopies of "how-to diy hi-po hydro", w/mostly stock parts. If you want them, they're yours - if I can find them, & if they aren't stuck together over the years. Let me know...
