I learned something yesterday after contacting Steele about the hardtop upper window seals not fitting correctly. They do not manufacture the parts they sell, at least not all of them, as their website suggests. I had a su****ion about that after receiving the gl*** top seal from then and seeing it wasn't any different than the one I had bought from Ecklers several years ago, just more expensive. I don't see myself buying any more seals but if I do, Steele won't be my supplier.

This is odd to me as the Steele rubber we recently put in a 67 c10 were clearly better than any other seals we’d encountered before. As I move forward I’m definitely going to call and ask then if they manufacture any seals for my mercury. I’ll buy the ones they do and ecklers the ones they don’t.

Steele does manufacture most of what they sell, one thing they do not is the 1952-54 air ducts those are the thin Dennis Carpenter ****. joeagain.jpeg

I'm doe also. Got just about all of my stuff from them this go round. My window channel felt was barely stuck and falling out. Called and a woman had them check stock. Told me they were all like that and I needed to go get some super glue. That's sorry in my book!
