Guy comes in from? Doesn't even list his name. First, second and third post is, "What is this and what's it worth?" Let him contribute before he comes here to make a fortune from us.
Sorry for stepping on your toes. Wasnt my intention. I’m helping the grandson of a dead friend. They aint got two nickels to rub together and may lose the farm. There is a bunch of older cars and parts. I guarantee I’m not making a fortune. Hell, I aint making a dime. Tony is the name Irish Hills, Michigan I drive a 70 CJ5 with a Buick oddfire and a couple of old Harleys. I’m a retired Army guy. What else you need to know? Oh ya, I shoot 1911’s and S&W revolvers. De Oppresso Liber and Rangers lead the way
First off, Thank You for your service to this country and the people in it. Second, again Thank You for reaching out and helping your friend and their family and trying to help those less fortunate than many here. Three, gotta luv a 1911 !! Good luck to you sir !! .
Maybe not, there are folks that will restore them. I do believe they have their own forum. If no interest here. You never know. Marcus...
With respect to the OP's service? This is a very simple operation Ryan runs here. The rules are plainly stated and it's in the OP's best interest to read and understand them. I'm sympathetic to his friends dilemma but he's going to get a more positive response by simply reading the rules. BTW, post pictures of the Airstream in the Antiques cl***ifieds and you might find someone really wants it.
My point exactly Sir and if he even bothered to read rules he obviously did not understand the. Yes, those Airstreams do have quite a following and they are substantial and well equipped for their vintage.
Warhorse Racing, I am also new to this site. I would like to know what rules were broken. Regards, Sky King
^^^^^^^ Look them up and read them yourself. You come here on this site, don't say where you are from, if you even have any interest in the hobby which is a lifestyle for some, don't even introduce yourself just start shooting "What is this and what's it worth". Rude intrusive at***ude that is also apparently ignorant of any social skills. WE like to know some things before you get respect. After all it is earned. The Traditional Hot Rod forum is reserved for threads and posts pertaining to period correct hot rods only. Please use this forum for technical threads, build threads, historical threads, and feature threads only. We've set permissions so that you must chose a prefix for your thread. Those prefixes are limited to: 1. Technical - This prefix is for tech threads and questions. 2. Projects - Essentially, this prefix is reserved for build threads. 3. Features - This is the prefix to use if you want to show off that super rare hot rod part or even a finished car. 4. History - Reserved for threads focused on the history of traditional hot rods. For any other thread types (such as Event coverage, Art, etc...), please use the General Discussion forum located here. Note: If you would like to see all threads ***igned to a particular prefix, just scroll down to the bottom of the forum to where is says "display options." Choose the prefix you want to limit the forum to and then click "show threads." Last edited: Sep 11, 2013 From The Desk Of Ryan Cochran
