I will say Moon Discs suit just about any Hotrod that is or looks the part of a Race Inspired application so many historic examples of pure aerodynamic simplicity whatever the period rubber that resides alongside it.

A Full Moon…

 

I needed two 18” for Bonneville…. Called Mooneyes in Norwalk; I’m not too naive but I thought a month or so before August I thought they would be in stock……guess not…had to be made.

 

Kan't show you mine, they are on an illegal car, a lowered, silver, 2006 Mini Cooper, JCW.

Is this supposed to look like a race car? Snap-on hub caps, neck-breaking roll bar, hooded headlights, mini fuel tank, etc.?

You ether love or hate moon disc, I don't think there is a middle ground. HRP.

Wide whites make all the difference when paired with Moon discs, IMHO. The above combo cannot be improved.

 

Here's before and after of my 32. Have had Excelsior tires and 40 hubcaps for 7 years. New Diamondback ww with moon disc's for a different look.

 

Total different look for that roadster
