Technical Quick Change Identification

Seems to me one time I sent axles to Moser to have them redrilled. They sent them back. Said too hard to drill after welding up the big hole. But anyway you should have thought of redrilling way back when.

Anyway, ive found a shop that does custom 19 spline axlesfor early ford/mercury so thats probably the route ill be going.

 

In case anyone comes across this thread and is wondering, they are Ford F100 19 spline axles and drum brakes.

 

@Adrenaline are adapters out of the question?

 

I think there’s enough meat there to redrill those axles.

 

In general thats something i try to avoid but it is an option.

 

Im pretty sure there is. Honestly at this point i may try some new axles since the cost isnt crazy and if that doesnt work out ill get them drilled.

 

For anyone looking, Dutchman makes 19 spline axles along with just about any other style you could need. Their tech support was insanely good and they made sure to get me exactly what i needed.
