Why are all the cool '54 Fords for sale always on the wrong coast? I have been wanting one for a while.

Because the ones on the east coast rusted away to dust long ago? Dunno, just a guess.

The money, time and work that you will save in NOT having to replace all of the floors, rockers, body braces and NOT installing large quarter panel, door and fender patch panels would more than pay the cost of transporting a solid California car back east. And when you are done, you will have a much better original car that is not pieced together and will not have rust bubbles coming through the paint in a couple of months.

Great car to start wrenching on. If I was in the market for one, this would be ideal!
Good luck on the sale Alan!

My Ford is a west coat car, only a couple of rust spots that are fixed. It makes a big difference. The shipping was a little hairy but worth it, $1300 at the time. If I was serious, I'd have a western car shipped again.
