Been hunting 32 Ford style front lever shocks. The only manufacturer of new I can find is Stipe's Machine and they are 6-8 months out. It's getting harder to build a car every day. Frustrating!

I'm tipping my hat to you for being able to build a car every day.

I'll rephrase. It getting harder to build a car these days or it's getting more difficult every day to build a car. How's that? Everyone tries to be a comic.

Found some really cool shocks at Goliath Speed. Also doing a little more research there are several more Ford style lever shocks made over in the UK. I wonder how the dollar is currently exchanging?

The USD is horribly (for us in the UK) strong against the GBP and has been that way for years with little real variation. There won't be a better time to spend your dollars!

Also worth mentioning that your tax free import allowance is $590 dollars . So long as you spend less than that you won’t have any surprises import fees . Shipping is pretty quick normally 3 days from England to Los Angeles on a UPS service .

$1.27 USD to 1 pound sterling today so that pair of UK shocks are $723 and change plus shipping.A used set listed in the classifieds here yesterday $600.Probably cost $250 ea w/ core charge to have them rebuilt.

That's a fine exchange rate for those with dollars to spend so the shocks themselves must be pretty pricey then!

They are £575 FOB UK. I just bought a pair of 35 rebuilt rear shocks w/guarantee incl core charge for $500 plus shipping( $85 )to France for a friend here. It wasn't worth shipping the cores at $75.If cores were not rebuildable that's $75 down the tubes.
IMO don't waste money on questionable old used shocks when you can buy new and proven.Just read the description on those new ones.

I just called RotoShim and none in stock.3-4 week wait. O'Neill has 1 pair in stock and yes its 575 pound sterling for a pair plus shipping.$723 + shipping at US today's exchange rate.

Apple Hydraulics was the first ones that came to mind for me too.

They're expensive if you don't have a core but they're rebuilt real Ford units.

When y'all are paying premium money for rebuilt 32 shocks, make sure they are actually from a 32. Model A shocks are only a 1/4" shorter, but worth a lot less.

Had a reply from RotoShim today. Their total price and quality is in line with Stipe's. Rotoshim's availability is possibly better than Stipe's plus they are new not rebuilt. I'm waiting for a reply from Goliath, their product is interesting.
