Edelbrock carbs

    I have no idea what the hell the holy donut is,I don't know you or your cars & apparently from the last post I'm not the only one confused by your posts. Nuff said.

    Somewhere on the Internet a while back, a Holley engineer said if you can hear the secondaries open, what you're actually hearing in a lean bog. And that a gradual opening is much better for performance. But yes, on some carbs with some engines the vacuum secondaries could open a little sooner, and many are adjustable for that very reason.

    Great info here on tuning with jets, metering rods, and springs.

    Loosen the screw the covering the metering rod piston and swing it enough it see the piston but still hold the piston down lightly tighten the screw start the engine and see if the piston is pulled down If not go with a lighter spring

    Opened the dist vacuum diaphragm ???? How is that ?

    I think after 13 years or so they either fixed it or moved on. lol

    Back in my teens, We used to flip the air cleaner lid to make them sound tough. Even kinda worked on 2bbl carbs, Rochesters only though.
