This may sound like a dummy question but I'm new here ! ! ! I was looking at a site on this
message board about a group of Chevy's 1949 - 1953 or there about. That were getting their tops chopped. Some how I deleted it.
Now I can't get the search feature to work or even find it. I need help.

    Thanks Paul

Better yet, enter your search term into Google and add the word Hamb. Google delivers much better results than the site's search function.

Only 3 people on the HAMB have ever used the search function. If everyone did, we would only have one thread covering oil viscosity.

  8. ...Just a thought here. You're not really new here :D...Been here for 11 years!...3 posts in those 11 years isn't too much activity..My point being, the more you use the site, the easier it becomes finding stuff and navigating the place. I'm still figuring out things after 16 years on here!

Go to Google, Install your search term, then add this
    : www.jalopyjournal.com

    example
    Brake problem: www.jalopyjournal.com

The brake search would the longest ever :)

Just ask a question, and five guys will say "use the search function" then share links to those posts.
    Done, easy

I've been using the forums without logging in for well over a decade and now I have to make posts to be able to see the wanted section. I had the search function figured out, but I'm sure I'll find some more tricks now

A Google search is best and add HAMB. I also do same search but add Fordbarn. Depending on the topic, Each forum will have good information.
