Folks Of Interest Hotrodprimer -Danny - UPDATE

This is Brenda, I have not posted anything before because I had to wait to be sure he was going to be OK. Danny had a heart attack on Sunday. He had a 100% blockage in one of the arteries and had to have angioplasty stents to restore the blood flow. He still has other blockages but they are going to watch and address those as needed. He is home now resting quietly. We had mistakenly assumed the pain in his shoulder was from it having been broken so badly but we were wrong. Pain is a warning, pay attention.

I’m sending my best wishes and prayers for Danny, and please guys, take Brenda’s words to heed- if you feel something may be wrong get it checked out. Sixteen years ago I was having my morning coffee and felt some mild discomfort in my chest. It subsided in a minute or so, but fifteen minutes later returned and went away again. The third time I awoke my wife and asked her to drive me to the ER to get checked out. She replied with this- I’m not taking you anywhere, call for an ambulance.
Within an hour I saw a cardiologist in the ER and I was given a choice, I could go home and return the next day for a stress test or I could have an angioplasty right away.
My choice was simple, and they prepped my almost immediately. My results were similar to Danny’s, 85% blockage and a stent. I have exams every six months and everything has been fine.
Listen to Brenda, don’t try to tough it out if you feel something.

We will all look forward to updates from you when you can. Be sure to take care of yourself too. Your warning to everyone about symptoms of heart problems are important.
