    NC Customline

    Hello all,
Dan here with my 55 Customline 2 door coupe , she was my wife’s great grandmothers car she bought new in 55 . It’s in great shape but the 272 is seized o I have a 85 302 /aod from a mustang that I will be putting in it . I also will be replacing the #1 cross member that is rusted out , which I picked up from a gentleman in the Raleigh area (his last one) . Looking forward to discussing topics pertaining to the swap and old fords in general.

  8. Hey Dan!
Like pprather said, come join us in the 52-59 group! Lots of knowledge there that is specific to our cars. Check the sticky notes for lots of info on your upcoming 302 swap.

You might have to take a detour if the link to our group doesn't work. You can join the group by starting with the drop down in the top left corner.

Select Social Fourms, then Brands, then 1952-59 Ford Social Group. Somewhere in there should be an option to join the social forum. Get through all of that and you are part of the gang!

I have a 55 Customline project that originally belonged to my uncle's father-in-law. Good luck with yours!

Well I was not able to figure out how to join the group, but what I did do is build a 347 to go in the car . So the first 302 out of the 85 mustang had a bad block so I picked up a 93 and had the local machine shop do the work . I picked up an eagle rotating assembly, afr heads , air gap intake , f-303 cam, brawler carb and just for fun timing gears not chain . I am going to see how it fits in car this weekend.
