I recall drooling over that car before the auction. Couldn't make the live auction, as it was during Bonneville Speed Week.

Certainly a neat old Hot Rod!

 

Seth Mares, out of the Columbus, Nebraska area bought the car. He started mocking it up, but I'm not sure if he still owns it...

I was there and there were lots of neat cars there....at the time I didn't think I needed another project. I was wrong and that picture of the roadster sure brought that memory back

 

Had to run out to the garage and make sure my blue roadster was still there. Lol
