I know I already asked this question in another thread but... Does anyone know who built this coupe? The picture was posted in the traditional images thread by @40ragtopdown and it looks like the work of Bill Crowell from San Francisco back in the 50's but on closer inspection the roof line doesn't look like a '32 Ford, it looks more like a '34 chevy. I did a search on Bill Crowell, including the article I posted, but nothing comes up.

Pokie’s roofline looks like a 33-34 5w coupe to me.

There were 2 coupes built like that in California. From the back, they looked chopped, but from the side they looked sectioned. I saw one of them in the late 1950's in the Bay area.

Pokie was built in Dubuque, IA by the Slo Pokes Car Club. As I understand it, my uncle even drove Pokie. My uncle was/is not Bob.

I believe it was a club built and owned project, therefore, it was a group effort. Lots of the Hot Rodding community in Dubuque, IA was involved.
