George and Sam,............ Together again !

 

I HATE TO SAY IT BUT, I THINK "GEO. BARRIS' " FUNERAL WAS TURNED IN TO A THREE RING CIRCUS BY ALL HIS FRIENDS AND FANS..... SORRY JUST MY OPINION

 

THAT IS ESSENTIALLY WHAT I THOUGHT TOO, A THREE RING CIRCUS.....

 

I wish the funeral director would have paid more attention to the drapes on the funeral coach. That's tacky. Also, I know it's family choice, but a grave liner?

 

I'd rather see a nice pictoral tribute to him, his brother, and their cars. Enough with the funeral! Respect him and his family for crying out loud.

 

Didn't know the man or his family . . . so I can't comment on whether or not he would have liked it. There sure was a lot of really tacky crap in my eyes - didn't expect a funeral to be a circus car show. But Hey - maybe he would have liked it that way and got a big kick out of it. Just seems fricking weird to me . . .

I only got to meet George once, but he was definitely a show man... RIP bud....

 

wonder if anyone from Sam's family attended. Sam's wife and kids are still with us as far as I know.
