HAMB helpers?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by thecarfarmer, Sep 26, 2006.

  1. Just the other day, I was thinking that it'd be real cool if someone would compile a list of HAMB members who'd be willing to help someone out if they were on the road.

And when I went over to jockey journal for one of my infrequent lurks... it seems that member SltyDog there put a list together.

You can check it out here.

So, what I want to know, is there a list like this already on the HAMB? If anyone knows of one, please drop me a PM; I'd like to sign onto it.

If not, I'm volunteering to compile one.

OK, so I read up. I was the 18 post on that thread. Where is the list? I'm still waiting.

  8. Uh oh.

My bad; I thought I'd already done a search. DOH!

I just hope nobody puts up the "gay thread" pic w/ gary oldman and the knight rider car...

I'm off to PM hotrodladycrusr & sign up.

I gotta say this though.... message board search functions do help save a lot of time... but they aren't always so hot, either. The one on here for some reason seems head and shoulders above the other boards I've been on (in general this whole board seems to work better than the others) but it still ain't no Google. Unless you know exactly what terms to look for, you end up spending a lot of time trying different key words.... SOMEtimes it's more efficient to just ask the question and take your lumps from the Search Police. ;)
