Great little get together, some really cool guy! I enjoyed the gas stick story!

 

The picture is on my phone which I lost at the event, thankfully Debbie Kuebler of E'ville Iron called this morning and will be sending the phone to me tomorrow. I will post the photo of the meet&greet as soon as I can. Thanks to all who attended, it's nice to put faces with the names, and share some great stories..

 

I have known Debbie and her husband Karl, for many years and they, like so many of the E'ville members, are great people!

 

E'ville Iron Frog Follies is the old style rodding event where they just can't do enough for the participants from free T-shirts, dash plaques Saturday night dinner, Sunday breakfast, games for kids, and adults, you are involved in the event from Friday till Sunday after noon. This is truly and event that you feel welcomed by the club and not just there as a $ to the promoter. I have not attended since the early 80s due to relocating to Utah, but I will not miss another one. In the 48 years this event has been honed to perfection and they still ask for suggestions for improvement. This is the largest PRE 1949 event, and as Hamber I really appreciate the experience. I can not thank you enough E'ville Iron.

 

Sorry I missed this post. Just seeing it now. I was there all weekend with my 39 and saw the HAMB sign when nobody was around. I wasn’t really sure what it was all about. We saw evidence that were a number of HAMBers at the show. I ran into some guys from Joplin and reminisced about the HAMB Drags. Please do the meet and greet again next year and I’ll be sure to stop by.

I think this show gets overlooked on the HAMB since it’s really a street rod show. But we all need to get over that. I’ve been to the Frog Follies six or seven times now and have always enjoyed it. This year was even better for me since it was the first year I actually had a car in the show. The venue is near perfect, the prices are cheap and the atmosphere great. No at***udes and super friendly people. Even though Friday was hotter than **** it was still a great time. E’Ville Iron has been doing this for 48 years now and they really do it right. I’ll be sure to make it every year for as long as I’m able.

 

And again I missed the meet and greet. Had brake problems again. So the '34 made the trip back home on a trailer.
