1952-59 Ford What to use to polish my dash panel?

I need to polish my dash insert but all I have is an 8" bench grinder/polisher which is only good for large flat pieces and I'm thinking it might be too aggressive for the engine turned portion of the panel. I also need to get into the corners. Any recommendations?

 

Mother's or Meguire's wheel/aluminum polish and rags or small buffing wheel on Dremel tool.

 

I’d guess you know already but … keep the polishing pad exclusive to the type of compound
