I replaced the gasket under my carbs, between the blower case and the carbs base, because it was leaking fuel.
I also use Permatex High Tack along with a new gasket, Now it puffs blue, but does not smell like oil, Do you think its from the permatex high tack ? And do you think it will burn off ?
    Thanks for your time.

Carb gaskets get installed dry. I hope that stuff hasn’t messed with your rotor seals.

I think even if you poured a little of that sealer down into the blower, it probably would cause symptoms other than blue smoke.

Maybe it's been puffing at start up for a while, and you never noticed it before? or maybe there's some other issue that caused it to get wet fuel there, which is somehow causing the oil smoke?
