Has Anybody Out There On The West Coast Seen My Old '34 Three Window Cp. Running The Sreets Anywhere ??? I Sold It In 2002. It Ended Up In Pasadena,Ca. The Same Guy That Bought My Car Bought "clarks" So-What Roadster Pickup. I Never See Any Pic. Of Either Of Them. Just Was Wondering What Ever Happened To Them.Any Info.would Be Helpful,Thanks,TOM These Pic. Were Taken In Conn. At The "Road Agents" Show, 2001.
I think I may have seen it years ago at Fudruckers in Pasadena. Fudruckers is gone now. Someone from Choppers of Burbank has a car that looks like this one, I saw it at Bob's Big Boy recently. I'm not sure if it's the same car though. Maybe 2 different cars maybe the same, both times I have seen them they have the red oxide primer just worn a bit. I'll take a pic if I see it again and post it.
You owned that car and then sold it? How can you live with yourself? Seriously, I'd have a REALLY hard time parting with something that cool. If you got really big bucks then, NEVERMIND. Frank
i saw clarks rpu at a small art/car show in pasadena almost 2 yrs ago, havent seen it since. i have never seen the 3W... though, it could be a completely different car these days.
Was this taken while you had it ? I hope you got crazy cabbage for that coupe...... Either way replacing the 33 grill with the 34 grill really makes this car come alive,...... Very, verry nice car !
No, I Did Not Own The Car At The Time Of that Photo. That was after I sold it. I Sold The Car Because I Am Sure Like A Lot Of Other Guys Out There, I Can Not Afford To Keep Them All .I Enjoy Building Cars ,Driving Them For Awhile And Beating The Hell Out Of Them,Selling Them,Getting All My Bills Caught Up( makes my wife happy) that I Left Get Behind because I dumped all my cash into the car And Then Build Another.Yes,it Is A Victious Cycle But I Get To Do What I Really Enjoy And That Is,Having A Good Damm Time Playing With Hot Rods and not punching a clock everyday. I Seen The "Choppers" 3 Window Cp. And That Is Not The Car. If Anybody Does Run Across It I Would Love To See Some Recent Pic.Thanks,TOM
a friend of mine named frank cl*** owned it....i guess he bought it from you? then sold it to someone in calofornia? maybe call him for the contact info? cl*** car company in harrisburg on jonestown rd i think cool car, i didnt know you built it was it an old stock car? Zach
Is this it? I know this coupe looks a bit different than the one in your photos. I took these at this years Fathers day in Pomona. Sean
Yes Zach, I Did Sell It To Frank And The Guy That Bought It Contacted My Right After He Got It Out To The West Coast And That Is The Last I Ever Heard About The Car.I Found The Car In 2000 In A Barn In Allentown And Yes It Was An Old Stock Car,#666. The Doors Were Just Tacked Weld Shut It Was Not Chopped And In Really Rough Condition. Me And EJ Kowlski Built The Car. You Know That Last Pic. Might Be The Car. Do You Have Any More Shots Of It ??
Do you know this car ? ,.... it must be a Gibbons body with the par***ion seam between the quarters and below the deck pannel,.... and the stock hinges. Nice car !
Damm, that Looks Like My Body ,we Made The Trunk Lid On Mine And It Was A Little Longer At The Bottom Then A Stock Lid. Sure Looks the same In The Pictures, But If That Body Is Gl*** That Leaves That Out. Mine Was All Steel.
I don't know the owner...but I have seen it at several shows..Its a really nice car aside from it being gl***,,,I wouldn't kick it out of bed I think some one on here know him I just can't remember,,,
Harms Way & Matt, I'm not exactly positive, but I think that this pic was taken the day the car arrived here in CA. It was delivered to Mike @ Lucky Brand Jean Co. where he worked @ the time. I seem to remember seeing it sitting in this spot the day that I saw it. He really hasn't had it out too much this year, He's openning up his own demin & fine tailor company that specializes in high end demin for the GCr's. He did drive it last month to breakfast & then to his business in LA so it does get execised every now & then. It still has the 33 hood on it but he bought a 34 hood sans cracked hood side to make it fit the grille better. It still looks just like this picture only a hair more aged. I always kid with him about seling or trading it to me when he can't handle it any longer.
I think I saw that thing a few months back in down town L.A. It was pretty *****in. My parents own a store down there and I'm there once a week but have never seen it again. I will let you know if I do.
I saw it at Fudruckers in Pasadena a couple of years ago. I talked to the guy, don't remember his name though.
