Car was named "The Weasel" owned and driven by Gene Altizer from Arlington, Virginia. He ran it on East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit as was the "Virgina Twister" that can be seen in background, that only the last part Twister can be seen. The Corvair was previously owned and driven by Malcom Durham who Gene got it from.
This is an image of one of the Beckett Motor Company delivery trucks of the 1920's! These trucks delivered good throughout Buffalo and Niagara Falls and were known for their rapid deliveries. The company was one of 253 automobile manufacturers in the country beginning in 1908. By 1929 that number had dwindled down to 44.
Interestingly,the leading car in this pic is a 330S. The two in the "garage"shot are definitely 250F's. Did Getty's get it wrong.
