Hello, As a random design, I was drawing a custom car version of this large 4 door sedan from Dodge. The oddball year and model played right into my odd drawing adventures. It was large enough to accommodate any size family back in the early 50's. But, it is a 1940 Dodge Luxury Liner 4 door sedan. We rode in several Chrysler Company cars back when we were little, but these Dodge 4 door sedans were not the most common of road worthy family cars out West. Jnaki My version, of this large 4 door sedan is a slow going process. It takes me several days of working on every drawing design, anyway. But with many projects pending, this Dodge sedan is slow going. Once the basic outline design is finished, does it become a lowered custom car, or an odd ball heavy sedan with a supercharged motor for those old drag racing classes like D/Gas or F/Gas? Flames or scallops to make it seem like a fast car? Big motor, heavy car works itself into not C/Gas, but the lower alphabet lettering classes. YRMV Now, where did I put that artwork? With the 40 Fords and Chevrolet models to play around with, a 40 Dodge is not the front and center model to use.
