  5. Stopped in to see how it's going; great work. The paint on your coupe looks exactly like the paint on the 34 Victoria in my garage. Whenever I start to work on it, plans are to keep it that way. Another project is on the go right now.

Such a cool Hotrod...your attention to vintage details really compliment the period ambience...is the Horn button a mix of repurposed odd bits or an actual rare aftermarket item?...

She looks great out in the wild, one of the few cars I don't want to chop.

Cool flathead 6v to 12v generator conversion that my friend Matt showed me. Grab a rebuilt 1960 F-100 generator from Napa (pn 2137000-$126.00). Case is same size as an early flathead. Swap your flathead front cover, pulley, and guts into the new case. You can use the original back cover or the new one. I used the new one. 12 volts and now charging better. Took 10 mins

Rigged up a choke cable today. Vintage military parachute release handle and old original Edmunds choke cable braket. Made an underdash mounting bracket and cut a cable to size. Works nicely. 20230904_145359.jpg 20230904_150216.jpg 20230904_161959.jpg 20230904_162029.jpg

Might want to get some black (ebony) penetrating stain for the floor board. The grain will show, but the color makes it look old and is very subtle looking.
    Fantastic Hot Rod, Bud.
