Congrats on the solution! Neighbors love mufflers, I really dig the headers (and also the hats) thanks for the vid.
Hey @J.Ukrop Way cool that this problem was solved quickly, using scientific logic and modern technology ! I bet this isn't the last time, that a well chosen hammer, will come to the rescue !
Thanks Joey, love your attitude, style & stick-a-bility to the dream. Thanks for taking us on the ride!
How do you spell relief...justading...yay!!!!...a man needs a break every once and a while eh...onward you go man!!!
Well, before I go to sleep, need to share a story…basically commending you for as far as you’ve come (yes I read your HAMB thread). Years back a buddy of mine had a miss in his engine. Said he did everything to solve it. Nothing worked and he decided to pull the head that had a dead cylinder. Had the head rebuilt and son of a gun, still had the miss. Now he calls me up and explains what he’s done (everything I’d had done) and I then said “geez, are you sure the plugs are in the right order”? We debated for a bit. He called me back, yep, he pulled the head and had it rebuilt, for two swapped wires. I guess what I’m saying is that many would have thought the end was near on the engine, pulled it, sent it to the shop for a rebuild, inspection, etc. But, as you alluded to in your video, “the HAMB came through” and your friends of course.
Great story, happy ending. Amazing how these old Flathead engines live to write another chapter. Soul
That was a great video and thank you Joey for sticking with it. It really makes one appreciate every hand built Hot Rod you walk by. It really takes dedication and patience to get to where you are. Hats off.....
Way to go Kid. Nothing like the sound of a flattie. T- Pucka , T- Pucka , T-Pucka , T- Pucka , T- Pucka… Now keep going.
@1-SHOT out of curiosity what part of an update video that the new chassis is together and running, soon to be driving makes it seem like the project will stall out?
I don’t believe the project will stall, seems Joey spends a good portion of his free time chasing down parts and working on the car. Ah to be young again
