What about they pay their own wedding and you give them the Hot Rod as wedding present!! Well no matter what I'll wish you and your family all the happines. Marriage is a beatifull thing! Looking forward to the pics.
looks good Nick...but where do you guys keep finding good tin in Illinois? I guess being that much farther south you don't use much road salt. Keep us up to date with the progress pics. Bill
Well, that will get to the church on time! very cool! Talk to Pat at Wilcap......he can set you up with ALL you need to run a third peddle.
I will get the details in a couple of weeks when I take advantage of you and slip ya a mickey......BAHAHAHHAHA youll be talkin like a stoolie Cool idea but it looks like to nice of a car to build to sell.I would tell your dad to give your sister a couple plane tickets to Vegas smackem on the back tell'em good luck and have fun and keep the car.Just my .02 Shoe XOXOXO
Yup, she's quite attractive. Good gene's in that family and someone's a lucky man. How come all I ever got from my dad was his last name? And a German one at that.
Nick, That is great, looks like a solid old sedan. Keep us posted, I bet it will turn out great. 60's style, hmm, metallic paint? funky fender treatment? chrome reverse rims? quad headlights? ???????? Rich
The clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate are really easy to get. Try Sam (pinstriper here) at Rocco and Cheaters for the flywheel first. If he doesn't have it then T/A Performance has them as do a couple of others. You'll most likely need the recessed firewall for that bad boy, but it looks like a real good start... congrats...
This will be a fun project to watch. Keep us updated regularly. Congrats to your sister and her boyfriend.
Damn... that is a great idea.. maybe we could do that too and pay for our wedding and honeymoon..... wonder how much I could get for my 58 Chevy!!! Hummm I'm gona have to think about this!!! Your Sis is very lucky!!! Keep us posted!!
Looks like you have a great sedan to start with! I'm with the other guys though, donate blood or rob a bank to fund the wedding! The car must stay in the family!
Your sisters fiancee is a lucky SOB, He's getting a father-in-law and brother-in-law with some skillz. You should what I got for in-laws
Yeah, I'm sure that the bride would be happy to trade her WEDDING for a HOT ROD. Have you ever even kissed a girl?
Nick, I'm sure the old man will extend an invite to all the H.A.M.B.'ers to attend the wedding I love free beer....better build 2 cars. DeuceDog
no doubt. i hope my girl knows there is no way in hell i would sell one of my cars for a wedding! i would be more likely to sell her for car parts
Actually this car came from a barn in N. or S. Dakota. Haha, my dad has already been trying to play the Vegas card. My sister wants a big italian wedding though. well ill go as far as saying, Little Jewel meets Lil Coffin(version 1) with our Giacalone twist. Yeah, not only that but his grandpa can build one of the coolest traditional cars around! but i have high hopes.........someday aaron, someday ill be the one in the white dress.
The Wedding? It's an Italian thing. The HOTROD? it' a Nick thing. Between the two I don't think I even have a thing, but it is going to be a fun build. We'll keep you all posted. Nick
I say any respectable candidate for a brother in law should have to buy that car himself to keep peace in the ["G"]HotRod family there.....
Nick, will you marry me? I'm not afraid anymore. I'll paint my car pink and we'll cruise the night away.
In a couple of weeks he will be damaged goods and you wont want him and he will no longer be able to wear white......MAHAHAAWHAHAHAH(evil laugh) He will be mine drop little Nicky and back away,,,,anyhow I think I hear Tyler calling...... Shoe
