looks good Nick...but where do you guys keep finding good tin in Illinois? I guess being that much farther south you don't use much road salt. Keep us up to date with the progress pics.

Yup, she's quite attractive. Good gene's in that family and someone's a lucky man.

How come all I ever got from my dad was his last name? And a German one at that.

    Nick,

That is great, looks like a solid old sedan.

Keep us posted, I bet it will turn out great.

    60's style, hmm,

    metallic paint?

    funky fender treatment?

    chrome reverse rims?

    quad headlights?

    ????????

The clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate are really easy to get. Try Sam (pinstriper here) at Rocco and Cheaters for the flywheel first. If he doesn't have it then T/A Performance has them as do a couple of others. You'll most likely need the recessed firewall for that bad boy, but it looks like a real good start... congrats...

Looks like you have a great sedan to start with! I'm with the other guys though, donate blood or rob a bank to fund the wedding! The car must stay in the family!:D

Yeah, I'm sure that the bride would be happy to trade her WEDDING for a HOT ROD.

Have you ever even kissed a girl? :D

Actually this car came from a barn in N. or S. Dakota.

Haha, my dad has already been trying to play the Vegas card. My sister wants a big italian wedding though.

well ill go as far as saying, Little Jewel meets Lil Coffin(version 1) with our Giacalone twist.

Yeah, not only that but his grandpa can build one of the coolest traditional cars around!

but i have high hopes.........someday aaron, someday ill be the one in the white dress.

The Wedding? It's an Italian thing. The HOTROD? it' a Nick thing. Between the two I don't think I even have a thing, but it is going to be a fun build. We'll keep you all posted.

  26. I say any respectable candidate for a brother in law should have to buy that car himself to keep peace in the ["G"]HotRod family there.....

Nick, will you marry me? I'm not afraid anymore. I'll paint my car pink and we'll cruise the night away.
