I just swapped out the ch***is from under my 46 business coupe This was until last weekend a very nice running and driving car A couple of years ago I bought a very clean stock ch***is from a fellow Hamber in Michigan and built a whole new 55 olds powered ch***is for my coupe I can't say much about what I did to it here but I am hoping it will ride, stop, steer like a modern car. So here is my original ch***is. My car was purchased in San Diego and has been a southwestern car, engine is a very nice C59 Canadian engine it has a Charlie NY carburetor, fuel pump and distributor a custom aluminum radiator and a one month old 6 volt battery The front end has a 4 inch dropped axle tube shocks and a posies superslide reverse eye spring . I went thru the trans with new synchros and gaskets put in a new throwout bearing the rear end has tube shocks and a posies spring too, also moderately lengthened shackles. Brakes stop well I put in a new master cylinder a while ago and the brake parts look very nice if you pull a drum off. Also there is a cool sounding dual exhaust system. only negative other than needing a pressure washing is that someone removed the top piece on the x member with a smoke wrench some time back, never seemed to affect the performance. wheels are stock 16 inch with Coker bias looking radials. I would love to post a picture or two but my grandson is out of town and just cant get that part of these posts to work. I can text pictures,. if you want to see it. I am asking $4500 The engine has recent heads and gaskets as it had mismatched heads one 59 and one 85 hp Canadian head plus I wanted to see what it looked like inside anyway spotless, O cracks If you can use this call me my name is Rich my cell is 561 262 6428 if you made it to the end of this long winded ad thanks if I could post an picture it would have been worth a thousand words Instead!!!!!! Thanks Rich
