What power seat tracks will fit in a 1953 Chevy Coupe without major modifications?

IMG_1085.jpeg IMG_1084.jpeg GM, 69 - the 90`s. The cables flex. Of co**** you would need the bench seat tracks.

Only problem being finding power bench seats in this age.

I only need the seat mechanism to attach to my seat track.

My point is that you need seat tracks with long cables to do a bench seat and the last big cars with a bench seat would be about 1990. Look at those cars, especially 4 doors and most of those will have a split bench which won't work. Don't expect anything to be a direct bolt in.

Just a thought, or something to think about. The 55-57 thunderbirds had a power bench that folded forward. For access to the convertible top storage. Aside from being too narrow, the mounting of the up/down motor would be in the rear seat floor. But it might give you something to start with, or ideas on how to fabricate a one off. Might even find one, there’s a lot of retro birds out there with buckets in them now. But you’re going to need a welder, and what I would call major modifications. But it might give you some ideas as you look around.
