Did you have to post a picture of a Vincent? I had a loan for one approved in 1976 and the owner backed out of the sale. Dang! lol

Hello,

Coffin tank, old girder forks, hard tail, short grab bars and a mini seat all make up the early style custom motorcycle. Sometimes it is easier to photograph close up sections as a lot of those custom motorcycles were extended and it was difficult to get a full side shot without clarity. So, a ¼ or ¾ angle was prevalent in most magazines.

The hardtail and girder front end may have made the ride a little harsh versus a full shock suspension system, but it did look cool… YRMV
