I know Steve is known for more of a who’s who of muscle car mopar knowledge but he knows old mopar stuff also. I just read he has a serious brain infection. I’m not a religious man but my thoughts are with him and his family.

I’m hoping and praying for the best. I’m not particularly a Mopar guy but his technical writing was always something to look forward to.

Here is his channel. This first one is an update

    His main channel https://www.youtube.com/@SteveMagnante/videos
Another YouTube guy has started a push to get people to subscribe to Steve's youtube channel and watch a few videos. Apparently if someone subscribes and or watches Steve's videos he gets paid a few cents or some amount from youtube for people watching his videos.
If you do it and watch doesn't cost you anything and you will be helping support Steve in his time of need.

ps: nobody wants to start a "Go fund me" page or similar because people are unsure where the money goes sometimes. The beauty of watching and or subscribing is the the money goes DIRECTLY to Steve's pocket with NO middleman.

Disclaimer; I have no connection to Steve's page or this effort

  8. I follow a Steve post on IG and a model car forum. I've "conversed" with him on IG on his model car builds, mainly AWB Mopars. The dude makes his own decals.

If I remember correctly Steve was on the HAMB years ago building a AWB Dart street car from junkyard finds and parts he had laying around.

  11. Could you imagine if Steve worked at the parts counter of your local parts store??? What a true blessing to the car world, I still watch junkyard gold every night I'm home. I sure hope he's better soon.

  12. I knew Steve Magnante when he lived in Massachusetts, and I lived in Connecticut. Steve bought my brother's 2 owner 1966 Plymouth Belvedere many years ago.

Steve is certainly one hell of great guy his automotive knowledge is incredible. The update is certainly uplifting for all of us who are fans. Meeting Steve for the first time in person at our clubs Model Kit Show was great Steve is just a down to earth guy who did not let his celebrity status get in the way of an ego. He's like all of us just a regular guy with a hobby building model car kits and full size cars using his own hands a true back yard Hot Rodder in my book. Wishing and praying for Steve's fast recovery.

Prayers for Steve. Good to hear his condition is heading in the right direction! Love his work in both 1/1 and scale building. Will subscribe to his YouTube channel.

  23. I have always enjoyed Steve's slant on everything automotive, we had a fellow club member diagnosed with a severe brain disease almost 20 years ago, unfortunately the specialist were unable to do much at that time, after seen a new video updating Steves health he is showing progress but still has a long way to go.

If you are a man of faith please keep Steve in your prayers, if not keep him in your thoughts. HRP
