I just picked this up today out of a pile of A parts and at quick glance I thought it was a F1 box with the nose cut off but it doesn’t match the other ones I have. Can anyone tell me what this is? Seems like a cool piece. Thanks.

Maybe 49 to 54 Chevy truck box. Can't see how it mounts to the frame though.

Dodge Brothers cars at least thru 1927 clamped into the frame with a 2 piece mount like that. Same box in both cars and commercial vehicles with different bodies, made column angle adjustable to each style body.

  4. Looks like the 30s GM box I used in my old Touring

  5. Here is a 30s GM box. @Clark has done several of these.

Thanks everyone Chevy it is! Well it’s not a ford but I may have a good use for it as long as I can work out the mounting tabs. Thanks again!
