    I had the day off today and decided to do some junkyarding. I was going through an old Hudson sedan and found this nifty license plate guard other than saying NASH-L on it I have no idea what it's from.     the NASH-L probably has something to do with it having a light inside.

    looks like the guy with the wagon needs one, his chrome went bad on one side

    That's a very cool piece.
    You might try some steel wool first, to see if it will clean up, and then maybe some FLITZ polish to make it shine.

    Too me, that stamping looks crude. Certainly, too crude to be factory; the letters are unevenly stamped and not even lined up correctly. Hell, it's not even good enough to be aftermarket; probably home-made.

    Yeap factory on nash rambler cross country wagons from 55ish through 59.
