I had the day off today and decided to do some junkyarding. I was going through an old Hudson sedan and found this nifty license plate guard other than saying NASH-L on it I have no idea what it's from. I did some searching of Nash's from the 40s-50s didn't see anything that matched.
the NASH-L probably has something to do with it having a light inside. looks like the guy with the wagon needs one, his chrome went bad on one side
That's a very cool piece. You might try some steel wool first, to see if it will clean up, and then maybe some FLITZ polish to make it shine. " Everything old, is new again "
Two Door Wagons give me a Woodie! I have wanted a two door wagon for many years & now that I have the 55 Nash in my avatar picture, I would love one of these!!! My bucket list has many cars on it, so it is not an urgent thing, but one of these days! God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...ar-transport-hauling-open-or-enclosed.614419/
Too me, that stamping looks crude. Certainly, too crude to be factory; the letters are unevenly stamped and not even lined up correctly. Hell, it's not even good enough to be aftermarket; probably home-made.
