Can't seem to remember who sell the Snow White water pump riser for small block Chevy engines. Some rod shop but Goggled it and can't find all I find is the Zip aluminum and Snow White is cast steel. Thanks foe help
I've never used the Snow White riser but have used 4 of the zips and can ***ure you they work great! The SW water pump riser does offer a riser for the sbf. It is a cleaner looking application if you are not looking for air conditioning and alternator brackets built in. BTW,they are available from Speedway Motors. Zip's riser uses a Chev 6 water pump and Snow White uses an Opel? That may make a difference to you. Zip's also makes one for BBC, which makes it adaptable to other engines. Very pleased with the one on mine, especially with a shroud.
I found that Snow White web site and they do not make the cast one like I have in my Model A.Haven't ,made the cast for 15 yrs they say.But you can get them from Speedway he says. Thanks for info.Mine uses the 6 cyl Chevy pump not Opel
HRP,Mine is on the Model A and it is just like the aluminum one but it is cast and Snow White says they haven't made those in 20 yrs or so.It uses the 6 cyl pump like the aluminum ones does.I'll probably use an electric fan instead of this this time unless I find 1 at a swap meet
Speedway doesn't show one with their brand on it anymore. Note that the post above yours was made March, 21 2015. A lot has changed in nine and a half years. Speedways still shows the one from Zips that has been around since the 70's or 80's and yes will bolt on a 265. They sell it with or without the water pump but right now the With is only six dollars more than without.
Gee wiz...I didnt even look at the date. Also great observation on the 6 $ water pump. Thanks for that. Must say your computer skills are impressive. Screen shots with hand markings and copy and pasting google searches. Just saying....more then i'm capable of. Thanks again Rick
