Just got back from a door prize run, bought $388 in everything from screwdrivers to a sand blast gun. Little shit to big shit lol, one of our sponsors donated a Dewalt cordless drill driver kit, that sucker was $175ish. Still got a couple more stores to hit for donations. I'm doing this shit different than usual, if you win a door prize, you're ticket stays in the bucket! I don't give a shit if 1 person wins all of them :D hoping everybody is happy and healthy and able to make it! Looking forward to seeing all of you....

I know if they are still available but you had to buy the whole lot of 348/409 stuff to get them.

Cat, I'm supposed to have Clarence back in time to drive it. If that doesn't happen I plan to drive a late model. You can too. See ya there.

Hey Lloyd, I think I can beat you to the finish line IF you would be so kind and give me a BIG head start. Otherwise, I'm not waiting for any lights to turn green! LOL

I never drag raced before, but I am hoping that the (hit) stands for halfway into track!

cfe51713d866ed4fc7860a1f59bd9ec8--rainy-sunday-sunday-morning.jpg Me and Ashley just mapped out a route through the countryside. 40 miles. Stopping at Cave Run Lake state park, a local school, and the historic Blevins grocery. We'll see how many show up, and how many are interested in making the trip. Best hand back at the drag strip gets $100.

Beautiful country you live in Lloyd. Closest I was to Ky was the bridge. Near where the stadiums are in Ohio.

Now I wish I had a free few days to take a ride across it.

Hey man, thanks for that! Even though I didn't see it until a day late. We were driving last night until around 9:30, 402 miles (didn't leave for home until after 1 pm) is a long drive for this old man in one day. The truck got 17.5 mpg average over 774 miles.

We don't like to run on Interstates unless we have to (too much traffic), so the road trip from our house to I 64 Motorplex is about 620 miles and is suppose to be 10 1/2 hours (that is nearly 2x the time frame of doing the Interstate, so that might change. LOL!)

Plans are to be there sometime Friday, after we check into our room at the hotel. We have motel reservations for Fri, Sat, & Sun evenings.

Might have to make an easy run down the strip sometime Sunday, after all you hot rod guys break. I'd be expecting a very s-l-o-w pass, probably have to time it with an hourglass! LOL!
