Channeled car. Needed 1" riser to center fan and use a 15" fan instead of a 13" fan. (Increases swept area by 33%.) Main body is 3/16" plate. Mounting flanges are 1/2" with heavy wall tube for the mounting bolts. Used 16 gauge for the timing cover cut out. (If I had it to do over again I would leave the 3/16" and space the crank pulley 1/4" instead of 1/8". ) Drilled and tapped heater outlet to 3/8" NPT for a by-p***. For a jig and to keep things parallel and square, I stood a spare block on end and put four bolts /w jamb nuts in the bell housing holes and bought a digital level. Also marked the where the bolt heads sat on the floor. Used the stock pump as a guide for cross sectional areas.

Zip was supplying Speedway with his riser. Like you said, Speedway probably had someone make a knock off.

After seeing x-coupe's pictures, I remember that reyn's model A build has a similar thing going.
