Looks like a great car to take your girl and a picnic lunch for a drive on a windy country or mountain road. Besides that's all you could afford after the purchase.
What kind of setup would allow the column to be on that angle but not be cowl steering? Or is it cowl steering but hidden by the side-mount spares?
This car might fit in well with the specials at places like Monterey / Laguna Seca, or with some of Edsel’s other custom builds. But does it have any show or racing records? Wonderful looking car.
Alfa Romero want to be. Really cool stuff there. I volunteer at the REVS Museum in Naples Fl., and we are restoring two significant race cars which they will probably end up at least that many $$. Love the style. Solid wheels cool!
Wheels are most likely ordinary wires with a full cover. A common arrangement on high end European cars. The Edsel Ford speedster had the same set up.
I'm looking forward to looking this one over up close! Even as a "fake" it is a super compelling car.
