I have a 327 SBC, It has single 4 barrel. double hump heads, flex plate. Casting number is 3903852. I can't find any info on it. Can anyone help identify this engine, Thanks appreciate the help

    Are you sure that that isn't 3903352 ? That would be a 67 327.

I'm not finding any 283 listed with a 7 digit casting number starting with 29 either so that BS is out. there are a couple that start with 38.

You still need the suffix number off the pad in front of the right (US p***enger side) head to tell what it allegedly came in. Screenshot (105).png Screenshot (106).png

You got yourself a 275hp 327 from a fullsize car, originally backed by a Power Glide. Built in Tonawanda on April 21, 1967.

Keep in mind that engine was originally built 56 years ago , there could be many different combinations of internals stuffed in that block !
