Great work. It takes skill & dedication to pull this off even for someone that has an original 3 window sitting beside it for constant references. Doing without a body for reference would be exponentially more difficult. Congratulations, sir.

Very unique and yes, ingenious.;) I had a vision of someone using either a hammer and dolly or an air hammer and dolly of some sorts. Obviously I was, overthinking the process a little bit.:rolleyes: Little tricks like that are what makes this site interesting and a great place to learn.:)

While I am in primer I thought I would letter it all up like a race car or dirt car. What the hell right?
Anyway I am still deciding what to paint on it but I did do some on the tail. I copied the idea from an old picture I saw in instagram. What do you think? To corny? Or cool

I hope you don’t mind me doing the full image thing , just makes it easier for everyone and ones can really appreciate the work that you have done.
(If not, I can delete it)
    - amazing job, initially I wondered why not just build a tudor, or even a 5 window would probably be easier, but the end result is certainly worth it !

    Thank you
I don’t mind at all. My pictures have been like that since my son made me switch to IPhone. I am not iPhone compatible.

I came very close to buying a 5 window. But I found this sedan. It was close, affordable, and in fair condition. If I had it to do over I would have kept it a sedan. I think sedans are great, but I had it in my head that I could pull this off so there was no turning back. I am never happy with my own work and this was a lot of work. I am going to take the easy route with the next one.

See that 3/4” hole in the floor? That’s how the water gets out.

@irondoctor outstanding craftsmanship from beginning to end. Sheet metal fabrication to the stance, you nailed it!.
Also, did I spy a Supergoose in your garage?

It’s a 26” ****oose, but I sold it awhile back. I have a big ripper that I ride now.
Although I do still have my Redline MX-II that I rode growing up.

When I was in 5th grade I was working and saving to buy a new Predator. A guy in town decided to sell his Redline so he could buy a VW bug. He wanted $250 for the bike I didn’t have that much saved up yet so I went to my dad and explained the situation. He said get your money and he took me across town to this house with a VW that had an engine fire sitting in the back yard. I bought it for $50, we towed it home, rewired it and new fuel line. I drove it to the guys house and trade it straight across for the Redline.
