I can't find any info on the RPM Nationals web site concerning Friday set up for prepaid vendors at the swap meet. I know a couple of years ago you could set up on Friday and spend the night at your swap meet space but there's no info concerning that on the website for this year.
Does anybody have any information about that?

Info on FB says that there is camping for swapmeet folk. I'd be making a phone call though. Screenshot (125).png

Yes I tried calling, no answer. I’m going to go ahead and go for it, leaving Sacramento area in a little while.
Thanks for getting back to me.

  5. I was talking to someone at the shop last weekend about this event, sounds like a great time... I am trying to convince my wife to go.
    Have fun

It’s a good time. Neat Ranch as well. She’d like the look of it.

  8. My wife brought home a bottle of wine today.... from The ranch the race is at.
Our neighbor just came by to show me some pictures she took today while at a gas station.... 99.99% sure they were all going to... the RPM nationals.
My wife says we can go, so if everything works out should be there around noonish.

Awesome event . I would aim to be there early as from noon on it can get real hot in the valley. Do your chores at home the next day.

Rolled in around 9:30 Friday night. Spent the night in the truck and froze my *** off. Only brought two blankets. The outhouses were at the opposite end of where I was told to park and wait for morning to unload. Having a prostate the size of a watermelon I spent most of the night walking back and forth to the outhouses. It seems there was some construction going on by the airstrip so the set up, car show and pit area had been consolidated and moved around from the last time I was there a couple of years ago. The swap meet was set up parallel to the strip so it was cool to watch the drags while selling. It seemed like a lot more sellers this year from when I was there in 21'. So altogether it was full of nice cars, people, cool parts & fantastic racing.
There was an old C-47 parked near the entrance. Had to have helicoptered it in unless they brought it in in pieces. Definitely don't remember that being there the last time I was there.

Great pics. Thank you. I'm surprised there hasn't been more coverage of this event on here.

There's @Kim Strobeck s green 31 tall boy. He went down there for the drags as a participant.
