I posted the other day that my car shit out on me on the way home from Winchester Ky. The car was running great down the interstate and died at the stop sign when I got off the exit. Just thought I'd update and proclaim the winner is @lumpy 63 , I sent him a text and his exact words were "something is in the needle and seat". Day after this happened I walked out and hit the key, car fired right up. I threw my hands in the air and said a few words. The issue was that the car would start when you held it to the floor, but it wouldn't idle. Today I went to tackle the ignition system, I started the car, and in about 15 seconds it started stumbling and died. I said hell with it and pulled the plug on the front bowl, gas about knocked me down. So I pulled the needle and seat, sure as shit, just like he said, there was a piece of something stuck in it. Took it in the shop and blew it out, put it back in, reset the float height, and back to normal :D thanks lumpy, you da man!

Well that depends on if everybody told me to check my compressor first. 15 people telling me it's my compressor might be worth checking

:D Hi Lloyd. The stories of your daily life on the H.A.M.B remind me of the old silent movies.
To wit:"The Periles of Pauline".:p IIRC,those were a Mack Sennit production.
You're way too young to remember those,so fire up your favorite search engine and type in the title.
    Have a good giggle.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

  15. What happened to the red rims ???

Another car forum I was on used to have a secret "redrims" group of individuals, you could insert certain images hidden behind the word "redrims" that would be highlighted in red, just never knew what you were going to see when you clicked on it. LOL

^^^^^There is a lot to unpack in that photo. What with the Saturn 5 launch vehicle turned RV? And the presence of the Weinermobile in Uranus...?

Pretty sure most of us would be fired within hours if our job was to drive the wienermobile. I’m sure the photo ops are endless for that deal.

Do you really think that will make any difference? This is the HAMB and it is acting a lot like the winter outside, you know.
