I know the feeling. When I got this one on the road last summer I didn’t think it would be this spring before I would be able to work through some bugs and put some serious miles on it!

Spent all weekend with a buffer on getting this old dude cleaned up. I only talked about doing this for the last two years.

anyone else coming to the Springfield NSRA show this coming weekend?

  4. Looks great! I might go to the show next weekend. They are doing a lot of building on one end of the fairground where a lot of cars usually park, so not sure how that will affect the NSRA show. I was at the fairgrounds yesterday for the swapmeet.

I live about 20 mins from the fair grounds. There’s a lot of construction going on like you said. But I don’t honestly think it will hurt it to bad. One things for sure I looking forward to seeing some old faces and having some great times with the family. Hope to see ya there!!

I knew it would clean up but not quite like it did. Maybe we will see you around sometime this summer!

Little weekend update. Spent the weekend at the NSRA show in Springfield with family. The fair grounds was fairly quite on Sunday so me and the boy took a few extra laps around a the fair grounds. I let him sit on my lap and drive. He thought that was a great time. Then on Monday my wife’s grandmother wanted to go for a ride so we loaded up and away we went. I think she enjoyed it almost as much as I did. Car did great all weekend and we had a great time out and about!

So’s mine I think that’s why it’ll be a trip to see them next to each other. Different but very similar IMG_9405.jpeg clean as it’s getting for the road trip!

I’m going to be polishing mine back up this weekend into next week! The old paint is so worn it soaks the polish up. Holds a good shine for a few weeks so it should be good! Love the reflection yours has! And your right they are both very similar

    Terrific project. A total

@EV34 just found your thread, such a cool hot rod, we didn't get these Tudor's over here but I do know of a body looking for a home. I've got all the parts for a 46 chassis with early running gear. Just trying to work out how to fund it...

Thanks! We have a lot of fun with it!! It’s our main mode of transportation on the weekends! Hopefully you find a way to fund it. Keep us posted!

Thanks mate, I went looking for inspiration found your car & did't have to look any further!

I have a 40 truck cab n guards To go on the chassis but a sedan would be a cool thing. Will move forward on the chassis & hopefully by the time I'm ready to fit up a body we'll be able to pull the trigger on the sedan. Who knows :)
