Looking for advice on the safe removal of light knobs. I know about removing the threaded collar, however, I don't want to bust the knobs. Any help is appreciated.
Reach around the back and there may be a spring loaded pin which keeps the stem from coming all the way out. Not sure if '61s were like that, but early '70s were, especially headlight switches.
