I guess he built it using a bunch of leftover parts he had. I didn't make it this year to RPM nationals but Ill look for some more pictures on instagram. They are all coming in from yesterday. I thought it was pretty cool...

Yes the rear quarters look like Chevy on that roadster. There is no homogenization in the touring above. The three car pic is what it was! What is the front suspension on the middle one?

I believe Don Blair knows...its been shared here many times some with a cardboard nose with kooky graphics on it...some of those pics do show better angles on the front suspension...but it again shows Hotrod was a diverse culture back in the day...maybe Jeep , Studebaker...not sure but it sits nice, looks pretty cool and I'd like to know how it performed...

...Another day at the races...there is kingpins...and for an independent suspension it is pretty sharp looking...kind of independent as it seems the top is a transverse spring with the bottom struts separated

I'm updating his thread but I found this...

...another pic of the Don Blair T

So this I believe is what Don had applied to his T in I'm thinking the mid 50's...I wonder how it performed...being made for Austin's or Special's I'm thinking the weight was possibly a little more significant with the flathead...maybe not...it certainly highlights the diversity that was becoming more commonplace in the culture with global trade and migration of people...

On another note I believe that is the late Hamber @Rockerhead's Cord beside Don's T...another oddball on the world of Go Fast...

    Good work Sherlock!
During WWII a lot of young hot rodders were exposed to European auto designs and naturally brought some ideas home. That is what started the sports car craze that caused many rodders to cross over into road racing. Likewise a lot of little European cars got some big ass American engines. In high school I helped a friend put a 327 in his Healy.

...pics or it didn't happen...the drag scene without a doubt spilled over onto Street Hotrod...yes there was vice versa but the the kicked out suspension stubby backs really were leaning towards the rails...that's my analogy/opinion for today...:D

What a nicely pulled off nasty bastard of a pickup...those slicks are hard to beat as well...I wouldn't change a thing...just add lights and plates and giver!!
