What I am thinking about like it was said earlier maybe I can flip each side tie rod mount and even if I have to get a new steering arm maybe that can be moved from the bottom to the top of the spindle. That would put the tie rod behind the axle. I will be looking at that. I believe I would have enough room to raise the steering linkage arm up. I will post some better pictures of the front in the open and get people input hoping soon.

So, I have another question on this spring issue. They put the spring setup in when building this, look at the front end. On top of the spring there is a 1 1/2-inch steel block and on the bottom, there is a 3/4-inch block of steel. What is the purpose of this? Shouldn't the spring be there sandwiched by itself? It seems to me like it would stay loaded. I can stand on the frontend, and it doesn't move. To me, this isn't correct. What is your thinking? Am I correct that if I pulled both the blocks out and re-bolt it with just the top and bottom of the mount that the front will rise? Just don't know why they are like that.

Sometimes it's just To raise the Front of the car or sometimes it's a spacer for springs that they took out

  5. To much spring is very common in light cars as well as built in bind that limits the movement of things.

Okay, just wanted to check because didn't want to have another problem.

  7. Just so you are aware and being we haven't seen the Frame mount end of the radieus rods. How they are mounted can have a negative effect on Axle movement. There is a Right way and a lot of Wrong ways to do that.
