Technical Does anyone recall the thread by a member that made a brake drum balancer?

I had the link saved, but that was on a laptop that is no more.
Seems like it was maybe two or so years ago?
For the life of me I can’t recall the details, but was sure it would be good for a static balance.

I've balanced drums using our spin wheel balancer. In GM training cl*** decades ago this was an approved method. Attaching the weight is the difficult part.

 

Seems it was kinda like a bubble balancer of sorts. I looked at the HF one, but via the pics it appears the cone would not be large enough for a hole that’s in a drum.

 

I just had a pair of faux Buick drums balanced by my tire guy on the spin balancer.

 

I have used a old Stewart Warner balancer and was surprised how off my drums were off.

 

I used my buddy's bubble balance to do it and it definitely worked.
