Can someone recommend a good source for a new kingpin set? Are some better than others for the 1947 Truck kingpins? Are most kits accurate or are there fitment issues?

NAPA sold them years ago & should still be available.

  3. I would look for NOS or NORS first, then hit the suppliers if I couldn't find one.

Although I had a ‘42 PU, I didn’t have to get into the kingpins. But, I ***ume there are bushings involved as well that would need to be replaced and honed/reamed properly.
Several threads on the HAMB and how to’s, proper tool needed, etc.

I’ve used the kingpins from Speedway and never had an issue with them.
