Wonder where this one is? Chopped top, lengthened hood, custom rear body and hot rodded banger. Work was done in the Duesenburg factory.

Bill Jackson lives local. He used to edit the AACA magazine. He looks like Ben Franklin enough he made a living impersonating during 1976.

It's a hot rod meet with few bangers but a pretty remarkable run and show in Bartlesville, OK. The show is at Frank Phillips 3000 acre preserve, the Woolaroc. https://www.woolaroc.org/ I will be driving a banger powered car the some odd 700 miles each way and some in between...the reliability run has been 100+ miles.
This is as much about the trip as it is the destination for me and I'm a low class rod meeting up with a number of other hoodlums from the HAMB...
I will do a roadtrip thread....hope this answers your question....

Somewhat, the confusion was seeing the thread repeat as well as the link for last months. It made me think it may be a monthly thing?

Oh, now I understand your question....
Yes, the 'Meet' is a monthly thing with a new one starting on nthe first of the month...Some of the monthly meets can get pretty long and filled with photos....we need to see your speedster....

The weather is getting better, are you having any joy unearthing treasures at your place?

  20. Blew apart my mocked up '24T roadster to finish up the bodywork and throw some paint at it.
Currently has a B engine in it that I built a couple of years ago, but I'll probably steal the Coupe engine to get it on the road - hopefully next year... IMG_4448.JPG

Any chance of some more pics, k member in the chassis etc. What is the big picture plan? Do you have a build thread going?

The crossmember swoops under the original to pick up the wishbone mount and give me some foot room.
