The Stahl Moroso deal only lasted between about two years and then Dick moved back to Connecticut and started Moroso Performance in a store front next to a McDonalds on Puttnam Ave, in Greenwich, Ct.

When Dick told me that he was moving to the York, Pa. area to work for Jere Stahl I never thought it would last because I could never picture Dick working for anyone but himself.

    Hello,

When my wife and I were touring Europe, a similar photo was taken upon our arrival in the small country called San Marino. No, not San Marino near Pasadena in So Cal.

San Marino is the fifth-smallest country in the world. When we arrived, this is what we saw for the first impression of the small city. We did see a lot of people and cars and for the small area, it was quite packed.

One fact that we noted upon arriving home was that due to being a very small area, there were a lot of cars. Research provided plenty of answers.

It has the world's highest rate of car ownership, being “one of two countries with more vehicles than people.” Driving in So Cal and surrounding cities on various vacation road trips, makes one wonder where all of the cars are coming from at the time. But, our area versus population is not in the highest ranking cars to people classification. Overall, the whole USA has a lot of people vs cars, but is ranked in the top 10.

“Located in the northeastern part of the Apennine Mountains, San Marino is a landlocked country adjacent to Italy and has the world's largest vehicle-to-population ratio at 1,299 cars per 1,000 people — a lot for such a small micro-nation. An amazing feat! To put it another way, San Marino has an area of just over 61 square kilometers, more than ten times smaller than the city of Chicago. San Marino has a population of about 34,100 people, here, every citizen owns a car, the country seems to be a car country.”

So, how big/small is San Marino? 21 square miles is about the same size as Newport Beach in So Cal.

But, the traffic in Newport Beach seems like everyone owns a car, hot rod, sporty car, a car/station wagon with surfboards, or just a ton of cars on every road/street in the harbor area/beach side places. YRMV
